"Why did you start Evolusen?"
The short answer: we were solving our own problems.
My co-founder, Sen, and I both worked in hospitality and travel marketing. We knew how painful it was to coordinate hosted stays and campaigns without a system—just endless emails, spreadsheets, and back-and-forth.
We kept thinking: There has to be a better way to run influencer marketing in hospitality and travel.
We wanted to create a platform that actually worked for the hospitality and destination marketers using it: something easy, intuitive, and built for the unique workflows of hotels and tourism boards.
Our first goal was to streamline the process:
That's how Evolusen started.
After we launched and began collecting real, first-party influencer data, we noticed something alarming: a large number of influencers were faking their numbers.
We saw inflated follower counts, suspicious engagement patterns, and entire accounts built on bots or bought likes.
And yet…
They were getting free stays, comped meals, and even paid deals while offering little to no actual value in return.
We realized marketers were being lied to, over and over again, because there wasn't a clear way to validate who was real.
And real, talented creators were losing out, stuck competing with bots and fake engagement.
That's when we realized:
It’s not enough to make influencer marketing easier.
We had to make it more honest.

Add to that the flood of fake influencers, and it’s no wonder marketers feel burned, and real influencers get overlooked, stuck competing with inflated metrics and inauthentic engagement.
The industry doesn’t just need another tool—it needs a trust layer.
This isn't sustainable.
And it's not how real partnerships are built.
So, we took a leap. As first-time, non-technical founders, we built Evolusen to make influencer marketing in the hospitality and travel space more efficient, more authentic, and more transparent.
